The best day out we've had in Gran Canaria and we have been coming a few years. Staff are great, really fun, friendly and welcoming. The catamaran is great, lots of room, seats and sunbeds. Lunch was great and drinks also included (beer, sangria and soft drinks). They keep you well informed of where we are, what's ahead, when dolphins appear etc. Glass bottom great for kids (and adults) to see lots of fish swimming.

What is this tour like?

Princesa Ico is the big catamaran of Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria — licensed for 250 passengers — and its four-hour excursion is the classic day out: leave the Puerto Rico pier, anchor in a bay for a swim and lunch, and look down through the underwater viewing section of the hull on the way. The operator's price list is by age: free up to 4, €35 for 5 to 10, and €55 from 11. Lunch is part of the excursion as the operator describes it.

What you buy on board is where the price grows, and the operator publishes every item: a Basic Pack at €40 with water and soft drinks, a Full Pack at €55 with beer, paella, wrinkled potatoes and banana boat, a 20-minute speedboat visit to the caves at €10, a reusable plastic cup at €1, sunbeds at €10, and jet ski at a 'special price'. Reviewers describe a party atmosphere with a DJ, and one warns about being scammed by an online tout before the catamaran's owner let them board anyway — book through the operator or through us. Princesa Ico holds 4.7 on Google from 300 reviews as of 3 September 2026. Spanish is the confirmed service language.

“Despite we were scammed by a tout online the catamaran owner did us the favour to let us on board very nicely so as not to ruin my birthday. Forever grateful. Good fun boat party with DJ, food and free bar. I highly recommend this boat party.”
