Coming here was a wonderful experience! Even as a beginner in surfing, I quickly learned the basics and rode many more waves than I expected. The service is excellent; they pick you up at your hotel and take you back at the end of the day. Everyone is very kind, and the instructors are clear and helpful. The time flew by, and you even get a break during the activity.
What is this tour like?
Pro Surfing Company calls itself the first kitesurfing school on Gran Canaria, and other kite websites on the island resell its lessons. The operator itself is in the Eurocenter shopping centre in Maspalomas, and it holds a perfect 5.0 on Google from 971 reviews as of 3 September 2026. The private kitesurfing lesson is one student, one instructor, two hours; the price page shows €180 struck through and €145 per person.
The inclusions are more generous than most schools': round-trip transfer to your accommodation in the south area, complete material and mineral water, extensive insurance coverage, videos and theory classes, and IKO-certified instructors who work in Spanish, English and Italian. Two extras are named: a photography service at €35 per person per day, and a €25 surcharge per booking for transfers outside the San Agustín–Meloneras zone. Reviews are mostly about the surf lessons, and they describe the same things — hotel pickup, patient coaches, children as young as 8 on boards.

“I couldn't have imagined a better surf experience than the one with Pro Surf! The organization was really really good, and even when I made very spontaneous requests, Paul made everything possible. With Danny and Ezy as surf coaches, it nearly felt like a private lesson, even though I was in a group of 11 people. They always kept an eye on everyone and gave me tips on what to do differently.”
“I booked a surfing lesson at Pro Surfing for my wife and our two daughters (8 and 10 years old). As a father, I was a little nervous beforehand, wondering if surfing might be too challenging or intimidating for them. I couldn't have been more wrong! The instructors were absolutely fantastic. They were patient, encouraging, and knew exactly how to make the girls feel safe and confident.”
“We booked a surfing lesson and had a really lovely time! Our instructor was excellent, he explained everything very well and in a very fun and calm manner. We would love to come back again! The surf school was easy to reach, and we drove for 5 minutes to the beach where we surfed. The experienced instructors adapted the lesson to our needs and different levels.”
