What is this tour like?
Koh Larn is the island 45 minutes off Pattaya that most visitors see from a beach chair. Fly Koh Larn Sky Park sits above it, on the ridge that runs down the island's west side, and sells the other view: a tandem paraglider flight with an instructor, launched on foot from the hill and landing on the sand.
This is free flight, and the distinction matters on this coast. A parasail is a canopy on a rope behind a speedboat — you go up, you come down, the boat decides everything. Here the pilot runs off a ridge with you strapped in front of him and stays airborne on the lift the sea breeze makes against the hillside. That is also why the operation is weather-led: the site has a live wind readout on its own front page, and flights go when the wind is right rather than on a timetable. One review on the Google card describes a booked ten-minute flight that ran about seven because the wind dropped — and a second flight offered free in compensation. That is the shape of the risk here: a slot can move, and the crew tend to make it good.
Three packages differ only in air time. Bronze is ten minutes, Silver twenty, Gold twenty-five. The ten- and twenty-minute packages each come in two versions, with and without a filmed flight; the Gold package is sold at one price with no video option listed. There is also a separate booking-form product, a tandem "up to 500 m", which the operator prices at ฿3,500 and schedules in two daily windows.
The Sky Park is a place as well as a launch: an open-air bar and a shaded deck at the top, a school that trains solo pilots to Thai RASAT licence standard, and packages for visiting pilots who bring their own wing. Getting there is on you — Koh Larn is reached by boat from Pattaya's Bali Hai Pier — but the operator's own agency booking form offers a pick-up on the island from the Amazon café at Na Baan pier or the 7-Eleven at Tawaen Beach.

You reach Koh Larn on your own and come up to the Sky Park above Samae Beach; the operator's booking form can arrange a pick-up on the island from the Amazon café at Na Baan pier or the 7-Eleven at Tawaen Beach. The bar and shaded deck at the top are where you wait.
- Gear upWind check and harness
The flight goes when the wind on the ridge is right — the operator keeps a live wind readout on its own front page. The pilot lays the canopy out, clips you into the front of the tandem harness and briefs the run-off.
- Run off the ridge
A few steps down the slope and the wing takes the weight. There is no rope and no boat — from this second the pilot is flying the lift over the hillside.
- Over Tawaen and the moorings
The ridge run looks down on the beach strip, the village roofs and the speedboats on their moorings. Ten, twenty or twenty-five minutes, depending on the package you bought.
- Calm or lively — your call
The operator says it plainly: the flight can stay smooth, or the pilot can liven it up if you want your heart going. Say which before take-off.
- ReturnLanding and the bar
The wing comes down on the beach below the ridge. If you took the video option the footage is handed over afterwards; the Sky Park bar is where most people stay for it.
