This is OnBird's family format: a private speedboat, an English-speaking underwater instructor, and snorkeling gear that fits children from four years old — anti-fog mask, soft-mouthpiece snorkel and open-heel fins, sanitised between uses. The trip lasts five to six hours, with a morning or afternoon departure depending on water conditions, and includes hotel pick-up and drop-off, an icebox with mineral water, drinks and fruit, and gear and flotation devices for parents as well as children.
The price is per boat with a minimum of two guests: 6,600,000 VND for two, 7,200,000 for three, 8,100,000 for four and 8,900,000 for five. It is not a per-person rate — the row does not multiply. Children from 10 to 14 years old and under 155 cm are charged 800,000 VND each, and from 15 years or above 155 cm the adult rate applies; both are listed by the operator as not included in the base price. The operator does not recommend the trip for people with high blood pressure, heart conditions, epilepsy or serious asthma, for pregnant women or for guests over 65. “I went snorkeling with OnBird today - what a wonderful team, I had a great time. Everything is top notch, very professional. To point out details - clear communication, I was sent lists of what to pack, weather forecasts, lots of useful tips in advance. Pick up from the hotel - on time, good vehicle. English speaking guides (we were divided into groups where 1 guide took care of just 3 guests, great for beginner swimmers as they are constantly monitored and helped). BEST mask I ever snorkeled in. I was explained what sunscreen not to use to protect the coral, and part of the payment you make goes towards restoring the ecosystem. Trip ended up with a BBQ on a beach prepared by the team. PS: it was raining a bit - wasn't an issue at all, just as gorgeous.”
