Tiran Island Snorkelling Boat Trip
A full day on the boat over the four reefs of the Straits of Tiran, snorkelling rather than diving. €40 per person on the price list, down from €50; park and jetty fees are collected separately.
Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt · 8h · €40 per person · EN
The trip me and my partner booked to Ras Mohammed has exceeded expectations. All the staff were incredible, you have everything you need for the day — drinks, teas and coffees, toilets — just bring a towel and sunscreen.
What is this tour like?
The Straits of Tiran hold four reefs in a row — Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas and Gordon — and the tops of them sit shallow enough that a snorkeller sees most of what a diver does. Cinderella Eldawley runs the crossing as a full boat day: out from Sharm in the morning, several stops in the water, back in the afternoon.
The price list shows €40 per person, marked down from €50. What it does not show is the park and jetty fees, which appear as their own lines and are collected on the day. The centre holds 4.9 on Google from 2,860 reviews as of 3 September 2026. If you would rather dive the same water than snorkel over it, the same operator runs the Ras Mohammed boat dives.
What are the highlights?
- The four Tiran reefs — Jackson, Woodhouse, Thomas, Gordon — from the surface
- No certificate needed — snorkelling, not diving
- €40 instead of €50 on the operator price list
- Full boat day, not a two-hour hop
- Same centre that runs the Ras Mohammed dive day, 4.9 from 2,860 reviews
