Orange Bay is the island stop that most Hurghada boat days are built around, and it is the one place on this coast where the entry ticket, not the boat, decides what you pay. Two of our four boat tours carry that ticket inside the price. On the two charters it sits outside, at €10 per adult and €5 per child. Knowing which is which is most of the planning.
What does a trip to Orange Bay cost?
From €100 per boat. Bullet Speedboats runs a private half day of up to five hours at €100 for the boat — nine fit on the largest hull in the fleet, but the operator does not publish a limit for this trip — with the Orange Bay Hurghada ticket, snorkelling equipment, life jackets, skipper and fuel included.
Serenity Speedboat runs four hours for up to eight at €160, with Orange Bay tickets, hotel pickup and drop-off, soft drinks, snorkelling gear, life jackets, a guide and photos. The €60 between them is transfer, drinks, a guide and photographs.
Is the island ticket included?
On both of those trips, yes — Bullet lists the Orange Bay Hurghada ticket among the inclusions of the €100 half day, and Serenity lists Orange Bay tickets in its €160 trip. On the two Egyptboats charters it is not: entry to the islands is €10 per adult and €5 per child, paid on landing. That is why a €240 charter plus tickets for a family is a different sum from a €160 tour with tickets inside.
Half a day or four hours — which is the longer day?
Bullet’s, on paper: up to five hours against Serenity’s four. But Bullet’s clock starts at the marina, not at your hotel — the tour page gives a 09:00 start at Hurghada Marina Boulevard, and there is no pickup. Serenity collects you and brings you back. On a hotel outside the centre, the four-hour trip can easily be the shorter day out of the room.
On the two charters the island ticket is extra: €10 per adult, €5 per child, paid on landing. On the two Orange Bay speedboat trips it is already inside the price.
What is not in the price?
Lunch, on both. Bullet lists soft drinks, fruit, snacks and lunch as excluded; Serenity includes soft drinks but names lunch as not included on the Orange Bay day. Bring food or bring cash for the island — and bring it in small notes, because a beach kiosk is not the place to break a large one.
Can you snorkel there?
Snorkelling equipment is included on both trips, and on Serenity’s day a guide comes with it. If snorkelling rather than the beach is the point of your day, Bullet’s dolphin trip builds two snorkelling stops into the route from €160 per boat, and the ‘Mirage Pool’ yacht carries a private snorkelling guide for the whole 09:00–16:30 day.

Is the price per person?
Per boat, on both trips. €100 is the boat and €160 the boat for up to eight — about €20 a head on a full Serenity, while for Bullet the operator does not publish a limit for this trip, so we do not divide. The same €100 or €160 applies if two of you go.
What language will the guide speak?
Bullet’s guides work in English, Russian, German and Arabic. Serenity states English or German on the tour page.
How reliable are the ratings?
Bullet holds 5.0 on Google from 217 reviews and Serenity 5.0 from 13, both as of 3 September 2026. Thirteen is a small sample — the score is real, but it has not been tested the way the other one has.
