We had an amazing experience. It was our first time diving so naturally, we were nervous. Marion did such a great job putting us at ease, explaining everything and we felt very safe, informed and empowered. Loved every minute of the dive!! Also just generally a super customer centric team, we needed some flexibility and they were really accommodating. We highly recommend and would book again!!
What is this tour like?
This is the shore snorkelling trip of Puerto Rico Diving, a PADI centre in Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria with 4.9 on Google from 398 reviews as of 3 September 2026. The format is simple: mask, snorkel, fins and a wetsuit are handed out, and a PADI-certified guide stays in the water with the group for 1.5 to 2 hours. The minimum age is 8, which makes it the youngest-friendly product this centre sells.
Two things stand out against the €55 price. First, the wetsuit is included — the Atlantic here is cooler than the Mediterranean and a suit turns a short dip into a proper session. Second, hotel pickup is free of charge from Puerto Rico, Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés, Arguineguín and Puerto de Mogán, so the south-west resorts are covered without a taxi. The operator does not list anything as excluded. Staff work in English, Spanish, French and Italian.

“An amazing diving experience, especially for beginners! It was such a great adventure and we felt safe and excited the whole time. Everything was explained clearly, which made it easy to relax and enjoy the dive. Mike was incredibly helpful, patient, and supportive throughout the entire experience. Highly recommended for anyone starting their diving journey!”
“An exceptional experience for our 11-year-old son! Our son, Charlie, recently completed his PADI Open Water course with Puerto Rico Diving, and we honestly couldn't have been happier with the whole experience. We first got in touch via WhatsApp several months before our holiday, and the communication was excellent from the very beginning. They arranged Charlie's e-learning well in advance.”
