What is this tour like?

Boutique Yachting charters its yachts by the day from Petcherat Pier in Bangrak, and on a full-day private charter the boat is yours: you pick the destination and the crew builds the day around it. The two standard runs are the coast of Koh Samui and the crossing to Koh Phangan; Ang Thong Marine Park is offered as a longer alternative at a higher rate.

The day is eight hours on the water, hotel pickup included, with pickup windows from 07.50 for the far south of the island through to 09.00 in Bangrak. On board you get a full breakfast, lunch, finger food and fresh fruit all day, drinks, towels, accident insurance and a guide who works in English and German. Kayaks, snorkels and other water gear are available on request. The operator's own vessel is the M/S Naga, a 29.6-metre two-masted Turkish gulet with six cabins and twenty sun beds.

FAQ

Is ฿79,000 per person or for the boat?
For the boat. ฿79,000 buys the whole charter for a group of up to twenty — it is not a per-seat rate.
What does Ang Thong Marine Park cost?
From ฿89,000 for the same full-day private charter. Note that Ang Thong National Marine Park closes from 1 November to 15 December every year; in those dates the Koh Samui and Koh Phangan routes still run.
How long is the day?
The price block says 8 hours and the inclusions list says 8–10 hours, plus hotel transfers at either end.
Where does the boat leave from?
Petcherat Pier in Bangrak, on the north-east corner of Koh Samui. Hotel pickup and drop-off are part of the charter.
When are we picked up?
07.50–08.10 for Thong Krut, Bang Kao and Taling Ngam; 08.10–08.30 Hua Thanon, Lamai and Nathon; 08.20–08.40 Chaweng and Maenam; 08.30–08.50 Bophut and Choengmon; 08.40–09.00 Bangrak. Times shift to match a custom itinerary.
Which boat will we be on?
The operator says you get full use of the yacht of your choice from its fleet. Its own flagship is the M/S Naga, a 29.6-metre wooden Turkish gulet with two masts, six cabins and twenty sun beds. Confirm the vessel when you book.
Are snorkels and kayaks provided?
On request. The operator lists water-activity equipment such as kayaks and snorkels as something you ask for, not as a standard inclusion.
Can a bigger group book this?
Yes. The base rate covers up to 20 people and the operator states a maximum of 50 on board for the day charter; ask for a quote above twenty.
What language does the guide speak?
English and German — the operator lists an "English/German speaking Guide" in the inclusions and runs a German version of its site.
