Half-Day Private Thai Yacht Charter to Pig Island — Koh Samui
A classic wooden Thai yacht hired for your group for the afternoon or the morning: Samui's Five Islands, snorkelling and mangrove kayaking at Koh Taen, and the pigs of Ko Mat Sum.
Koh Samui, Thailand · 4h 45min · up to 35 guests · ฿25,900 per boat · EN
What is this tour like?
Ko Samui Boat Charter runs its own pair of classic wooden Thai yachts, the Blue Dragon and the larger Red Dragon, and hires them out whole. The half-day trip heads southwest from the island's inner river jetty to Samui's Five Islands, where local families still harvest the birds' nests they call "white gold", and then on to Koh Taen and Ko Mat Sum.
There are two departures: morning at 09:30 with a return around 14:15, or afternoon at 14:15 with a return at 19:00 that puts the sunset on the way home. Along the way you snorkel the reef at Koh Taen, kayak into its mangrove forest, meet the pigs on Ko Mat Sum and can fish from the deck. Round-trip transfers from anywhere on Koh Samui, a meal, fresh fruit and soft drinks, towels, accident insurance, an English-speaking guide and the Pig Island admission fee are all in the price. Koh Rap can be added for two more hours at 30% on top of the charter rate.
