Offshore fishing from Gran Canaria is a single decision with a clean answer, because the same operator sells the same six hours in two shapes. The shared trip is €80 per angler for the full six hours, with a maximum of ten people on board. The private boat never becomes the cheaper option per head. What it buys is a deck without strangers and a schedule that belongs to your group — and at six people, €125 each is the price of that.
What else should you know?
The transfer is free. Hotel transfers in the south of Gran Canaria are included on all trips; the pickup time is confirmed when the booking is accepted, so give us the hotel name.
Bring cash. The operator writes it without ambiguity: payment is in cash only, debit and credit cards are not accepted. The compensation is that no deposit is required to hold the date.
The licence is covered. According to the operator's own site the fishing licence comes with the trip, so there is nothing to arrange in advance beyond your identity document.
Is a catch guaranteed?
No, and nobody sells one. Six hours offshore is six hours of fishing; the boat, the crew and the rods are what you are paying for.
Can non-anglers come along?
The shared trip is sold per angler with a cap of ten people on board, so a companion occupies a paid place. On the private charter the €750 covers one to six people however they divide between fishing and watching.
What else is there on a fishing morning?
