Two places that could not be less alike, joined into one boat day. What does €25 buy, and what does it not?
It buys the boat trip to White Island and Ras Mohammed. No certificate and no tank are involved. This is a snorkelling day, which is why anyone who can swim can take it.
White Island: an island that is not there half the time
The name is generous. What surfaces is a strip of white sand in open water, with the sea on all sides and no structure of any kind. At low tide you can stand on it; at high tide it shrinks or goes under. That is the whole attraction — a sandbank in the middle of the Red Sea is a strange place to stand, and it photographs like nowhere else on the Sinai coast. Shade, however, is exactly as available as the description suggests: none.
Ras Mohammed: the other half of the day
The park occupies the southern tip of the peninsula, where the Gulf of Suez meets the Gulf of Aqaba. Deep water arrives close in, so the reef has almost no shallow apron and turns into a vertical face with current running along it. For a snorkeller that is good news: the busiest few metres of the wall are directly beneath you rather than a long swim out. Below that, it keeps going further than you can follow.

If you want the park without a certificate and without a long budget, the €25 day is the answer. If you want it without any fee conversation at the pier, Mr. Diver's $95 dive day has the National Park and jetty fees inside the price, along with transport, breakfast, lunch, drinks and nitrox. If you want a boat day that is not diving and not the cheapest ticket, Hero's yacht day is $35 per person.
Practical notes
It is a full eight hours, so plan the day rather than the morning; Shark Divers confirm the exact meeting time with the booking.
