A day of two guided dives in Sharm El Sheikh runs from £55 to €155 per person at twelve dive centres in Sharm — the centres quote in three different currencies; three more sell not a day but a taster session, a course and a week-long package.
The figure on the price list is rarely the figure you pay at the jetty. Two centres add a boat fee of €10 per person per day (Sea College, Reef Oasis), a marine park fee — €10 a day at Aqua Sharm, €7 a day at Story Divers — and, in two cases, VAT on top: 14 % at Aqua Sharm, 10 % at Reef Oasis, which is how €95 plus the boat fee becomes about €115.
Three operators go the other way: the fees are already inside Dolphin's $70 and Mr. Diver's $95. Courses are priced apart: a Discover Scuba session at Nemo is €100, a PADI Open Water course at Anar €380, and Camel sells a week of hotel and diving together from €559.

A full-day boat trip from Sharm to the walls of Ras Mohammed with two guided dives. €80 per person on the operator price list; equipment rental and the marine park fee are paid separately.
The standard diving day at Sea College: two guided dives, tanks, weights, hotel transfers and lunch with drinks on full-day trips. €85 per person — plus a €10 per person per day boat fee if you go by boat.
A boat day for certified divers from the Hadaba side of Sharm: guide, 12-litre tanks, weights and hotel transfer for €80. Read the fine print — the park fee, lunch and 14 % VAT are all added on top.
Two guided dives on a full-day boat from Ras Um Sid, €85 per person at the web price against €90 on site. Boarding and marine park fees and lunch are not included.
Two dives in one day for certified divers, $70 per person, with hotel transfer both ways and both taxes — 14 % VAT and the 10 % entertainment tax — already inside the price. Boat days add park and port fees plus $25 catering.

We booked the one day exploring Ras Mohammed Park and White Island with Sea College Dive Club. It was breathtaking, with its powdery sand and turquoise water.
Most of the bill is decided by one fork: whether you walk into the water from the beach or take a boat out. The rest is decided by the fees that the headline price leaves off — the jetty, the marine park and, at some centres, the tax.
A shore day at The Wave costs €70 and carries no boat fee at all, because you walk into the water from El Kheima Beach. A boat day gets you to Ras Mohammed and the Straits of Tiran, but it brings the jetty, the fuel and the park gate with it — that is where the €10 a day and the park fee come from. Sea College and Reef Oasis let you pick either format at the same headline price.
