What an amazing day! We spent about three hours sailing with Flipper Unno… You get the chance to see pilot whales and dolphins, there's plenty of food and drinks on board
What is this tour like?
Flipper Uno is a boat the company built itself — African and Brazilian mulberry wood, four carpenter brothers from Alcalá, 18 months of work, launched at Playa de San Juan in July 1996. It has been running out of the Los Gigantes marina ever since, and today Agua Azul Tenerife S.L. holds 4.6 on Google from 2,306 reviews (3 September 2026).
The 3-hour trip is the full format: an official whale-watching guide on board, a paella lunch (chicken, vegetables, fruit) and drinks for the whole excursion — red wine, beer, soft drinks or water. The price is per person, tax included: €40 adult, €25 child 2–11, infants free. The fare is called “departure without transport” on the operator's page, so you get yourself to the marina. Pilot whales and dolphins live in this stretch of water, and the operator promises sightings “depending on sea conditions” — in plain terms, the sea decides.
