An absolutely fantastic experience! The 1.5-hour catamaran cruise was very relaxing and well organised, and we enjoyed delicious rice on board.

Sail out on one of Valencia's most popular sea trips: a giant sailing catamaran leaving La Marina de València for a relaxed cruise across the bay. Stretch out on the nets over the water as the city and port slide past.

The catamaran anchors in the open sea for a swim, and you can add a paella served on board. All ages are welcome and no licence is needed, with a DJ on Saturdays for extra atmosphere.

  • Swim stop in open water off Valencia

FAQ

Do I need a licence or experience?
No — the catamaran is fully crewed; just come aboard and relax.
Is the price per person?
Yes, per person — a bay cruise from €9, the swim excursion from €19 and the catamaran-with-paella from €30.
What's included in the price?
Catamaran cruise, crew, life jackets and insurance; the paella trip adds a paella on board.
What should I bring?
Swimwear, a towel and sunscreen for the swim stop in open water.
What if the weather is bad?
For safety the swim stop may be skipped or the trip rescheduled; you can move your date or arrange a refund.
How much for two people?
€19 per person, so two of you is €19 times two, that is €38 for the pair. The catamaran takes up to a hundred guests, so it is a large, shared sailing.
Which marina is it and how do I get there?
La Marina de València, the city's main marina; boarding is beside the Veles e Vents building. Drive times: about 15 minutes from the centre, 17 from Malvarrosa, 19 from El Saler, 21 from Valencia airport.
Is paella included at €19?
No. €19 buys the swim cruise only. Paella is a separate sailing from the same operator at €30 per person, so tell us in advance if you want it and we book that trip instead.
What languages does the team speak?
The crew works in Spanish and English.
How long is the cruise and is it right for kids?
Two hours, with a swim stop in open water. Families, couples and groups of all ages are welcome and the crew sails throughout, so nobody needs experience.

“The catamaran journey itself was quite nice, but as we set off the music was turned up very loud, which wasn’t ideal for us. The route was lovely though.”
