The single most common misreading of a jet ski price on this island is treating it as a per-person figure. It is not. On both operators the rate is attached to the machine, and the second rider is a surcharge — which changes the answer to almost every question about who should book what.
The price is per machine, not per person. A second rider adds €10–20, so a couple pays €35–65 a head while a solo rider pays the whole rate; that is what decides which slot to take.
The four slots and what they cost

Per head, two people sharing pay €35 for 25 minutes, €40 for half an hour or €65 for a full hour. A solo rider pays the whole rate: €110 for the hour is €110, however you look at it.
That is the practical reason couples usually take the longer slot and single riders take the circuit. On the safari two riders pay €65 each — the same per head as the hour from Pasito Blanco — while a solo rider pays €120 against €110.
What is already inside the price?
The Puerto Rico circuit at €60 includes the life vest, a guide working in English and Spanish, fuel, insurance and all fees and taxes. Photos on a pen drive cost extra, and the operator asks you to wear a T-shirt under the life vest — bring one. Be at the harbour kiosk fifteen minutes before your slot; the clock counts water time.
The Atlantic Wake half hour at €70 and the hour at €110 include the photos free of charge and transport for clients, subject to availability and advance booking — so give us your hotel when you book, not on the morning. The operator states plainly that no previous experience is needed and that instruction is given on the spot.
Circuit, safari or coast?
There are three shapes here, not two. The circuit is 25 minutes on a marked loop inside sheltered water at Puerto Rico, with a guide: short, controlled, the right first taste. The safari is an hour along the south-west coast from that same harbour, with an instructor riding alongside.
The Atlantic Wake excursions run along the Maspalomas coast from Pasito Blanco and are sold in half-hours and hours. The harbour does not settle the form of the trip: Puerto Rico sells both the shortest slot and a full hour of coastline.
Can a child ride?
Only as the second person on the same machine with an adult, because all four rides cap the jet ski at two. Neither operator publishes a minimum age here, so we confirm it with them for your booking.
Do I need a licence?
Neither operator asks for one. You are briefed before the machine is handed over, and at Puerto Rico a guide stays with the group.
Is there anything else to pay at the harbour?
Not at Puerto Rico: fuel, insurance, fees and taxes are stated as included. Photos are the only extra there, and at Pasito Blanco even those are free. If you want more time on the water in the same trip, the jet ski page lists all four slots side by side.
