Ibiza Private Catamaran Charter — GOA
Spent the best day sailing with my family around Ibiza. GOA 10, a 50ft sailing cat, was spacious for the 9 of us — we couldn’t have asked for more.
2 options for sailing & yacht charter in Ibiza — real operator prices, routes and guest reviews, all in one place.
A day charter from Ibiza to Formentera starts at €95 per person on Smart Charter's shared six-hour trip out of Marina Ibiza, with up to 12 on board.

Captain Nico was professional and highly skilled, but also warm and approachable, always one step ahead — from navigating hidden coves to timing the sunset.
Five stars for GOA! We had the most unforgettable day sailing from Ibiza to Formentera — everything was perfect from start to finish.
What a day! An unforgettable day aboard the GOA catamaran around Ibiza and Formentera, all thanks to Richard and Olga.
Smart Charter's Formentera day is €95 per person for six hours from Marina Ibiza, shared with up to 12 on board. The GOA catamaran is €1,090 for the whole boat for a seven-hour day with up to 11 people — one price, split however your group likes.
Both head for Formentera: anchor off the turquoise shallows, swim, snorkel and stop in the coves at midday. On the private catamaran the route is set with your own skipper, the afternoon goes to the bow trampolines and the day ends with a sunset return; on the shared charter there is a crew, a swim platform and a SUP, with a beach stop in the afternoon.
Important
GOA boards in Sant Antoni and Smart Charter at Marina Ibiza — check which side of the island you are heading to before you arrange the ride there.
GOA includes the private catamaran, skipper and crew, fuel, snorkel gear and a paddleboard; Smart Charter includes the day charter, crew, snorkel gear, swim platform and SUP. Marina and entry fees, transfers and gratuities are extra on both, and food and drinks are optional — catering can be added on the catamaran.
The two are not sold in the same unit: Smart Charter sells a seat, GOA sells the whole catamaran.
| Operator and tour | Price | Unit | Duration | Group |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Smart Charter Ibiza · Formentera day, shared | €95 | per person | 6 h | up to 12 |
| GOA Catamaran Ibiza · private catamaran | €1,090 | per catamaran | 7 h | up to 11 |
The arithmetic is short. GOA takes 11 people at most, and 11 seats at €95 come to €1,045 — still under the €1,090 for the private boat. On price alone the shared day wins at every group size; for €1,090 you get the route, the crew and a deck with nobody else on it. Both are starting rates, confirmed by the operator when you book.
