The Theia fleet is the clearest illustration of a rule that surprises people: on a private charter the price does not follow the size of the boat. Vega and Theia also sell two different things under the same word, so check the deck sheet against the guest list before you decide.
Why does the biggest boat cost less than the smallest?
Per head on a full boat the spread is enormous — the biggest boat divides its price across nearly three times as many people as the dearest small one. If your group is fixed and small, the number that matters is the charter fee, not the capacity; if your group is large, capacity does the work of a discount.

Twelve guests at the per-guest rate come to just under the whole-boat price, so the private charter is what you buy when the deck matters more than the arithmetic.
