Hiring a boat to yourselves on Phu Quoc starts at 5,900,000 VND (about $227) per boat — OnBird's private speedboat to Half-Moon Reef and Coral Mountain, five to six hours, for one guest, with hotel transfers, snorkel gear, an instructor in the water and fruit at the last stop.
Kimie's is the odd one out because it charges per person on a sliding scale: 4,940,000 VND (about $190) for a single guest, 2,470,000 each for two, 1,560,000 for four and 1,040,000 each for a group of seven to twelve, for four to five hours with a start time you set.
The rest are charter prices, cheapest first:
A boat to yourselves for a day, with a guide, and a route you choose. 10,000,000 VND per boat to the north for four guests; 13,000,000 to the south. Extra adults 900,000 each.

The first thing to sort out is the unit, because two of these operators sell a boat and one sells a seat. After that what separates the days is the direction you sail and the surcharges that sit outside the headline price.
OnBird and Flipper quote a charter price: it does not multiply, and the second guest at OnBird adds 600,000 VND (about $23) rather than another full fare. Kimie's quotes a rate per person that falls as the group grows. Do the arithmetic for your own headcount and the answer flips.

A group of eight pays only 320,000 VND (about $12) more at Kimie's rate than the 8,000,000 OnBird charges to charter the boat for four, and well under its twelve-guest charter. There is no single winner — there is your group size.
Direction matters at Flipper and only at Flipper. Its private boat is 10,000,000 VND (about $385) to the north out of Dương Đông and 13,000,000 to the south out of An Thới, the route is chosen by the guests, and a guide comes along. OnBird and Kimie's both work the southern reefs, and OnBird states that its southern tours run all year, unaffected by the rainy season.
